A Beginning
Grace Church was started by Matt & Vicki Williams upon Matt’s graduation from Dallas Theological Seminary. Having both grown up in South Carolina and attended Clemson University, they felt a calling to return to their home state and plant a church where the focus was equipping believers to become mature followers of Jesus Christ and to have impact on those around them.
Grace Church began on June 4, 1995 with 7 adults – meeting in the home of Tom & Allyison Merritt in Easley, SC. While one of us kept the children, the other six of us met in the den for a time of teaching and worship.
