God's Grace for Us
Grace is the favor and kindness shown by God to us without any regard of our worth or merit and in spite of what we actually deserve. God is "merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth" (Exodus 34:6). God's grace for us was revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ. By his death and resurrection, Jesus restored the broken fellowship between God and man. Salvation for all is "through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 15:11).
