Nasha is Hebrew meaning “to lend.” The biblical concept of lending as found in Exodus 22:25 is to lend to those in need without interest.
Nasha connects under-resourced entrepreneurs with funding through small loans provided at no interest by everyday people.
How are connections made? It’s this simple.
1. LOCAL agencies and organizations refer a local entrepreneur to Nasha.
2. NASHA determines the need, creates a profile of the entrepreneur, and presents the loan opportunity through the Nasha website.
3. EVERYDAY people like you review the profile and choose whether to invest in the life of the entrepreneur through the provision of small loan. The funds are both a donation to Nasha and a loan to the entrepreneur.
4. ONCE the total loan is funded, Nasha disburses the loan funds to the entrepreneur.
5. DURING the term of the loan, Nasha and its supporters mentor and support the entrepreneur to ensure success.
6. REPAYMENT of the loan by the entrepreneur to Nasha occurs usually within 6 to 24 months.
7. ONCE repaid, Nasha re-loans the funds to other entrepreneurs or invests in other Nasha supported activities.
