Our Children's Ministry at Grace Church operates with a three-fold purpose: assisting parents in leading their children towards a Gospel-centered life; equipping volunteers to shepherd children; and encouraging children to grow in Christ by teaching them Biblical truths in meaningful ways.

Assisting Parents:
We seek to assist parents in leading their children toward Christ by sponsoring events such as parenting conferences that help equip them for that role, and by encouraging parents to engage in conversation with their children on the lessons they learn each week. We do this through take homes such as our Parent Page (for preschoolers), and bookmarks and S'more Cards (for elementary students). Also, we have a list of helpful parenting books recommended by our Children's staff. See our Parents page for more information.

Equipping Volunteers:
It takes more than 600 volunteers to keep our Children's Ministry running smoothly from week to week. We equip our volunteers for this important task through training that takes place near the end of the summer each year. We also hold periodic training and vision-casting events for our volunteers. Check out our Volunteers page for more information.

Encouraging Children:
We seek to encourage our children to grow towards Christ by offering a wide range of programming at our Pelham Road and Powdersville locations. Our curriculum asks children to think, "what does this Bible passage teach me about God and about myself?"  We especially encourage elementary-aged children to begin their own study of the Bible, with their parents' help, with our ROAD Map Journal.
