The Sermon on the Mount reflects an incredible moment where Jesus unpacks the standard of what it means to be a part of God’s Kingdom. As we explore it with our students, we will see how God’s Kingdom plays by a totally different set of rules than the world. Jesus is concerned with our actions and also our heart in ways the religious leaders of the day found offensive. We trust that unpacking Jesus’ teachings will open our eyes to his Kingdom and our hearts in new ways as we seek to follow and believe him.
