When the elementary campers arrive for Big Group Time, they are greeted by our Big Group staff and immediately invited to join in with the band for a song. Next, each cabin takes part in the Camp Competition to try to win the Camp Banner for the week. The competition may involve anywhere from one person to everyone in a cabin to compete.
Afterwards, the campers are given the opportunity to join together for a time of corporate worship. Our bands serve to lead the campers in worship through singing and Biblical exhortation that connects with their lesson for that weekend.
Finally, our Big Group staff performs a skit designed to engage the campers in order to teach the Biblical principle(s) for the weekend. The main principle(s) will be explored further in the Small Group time.
